Total mileage: 878.03 miles + 5 mile ferry ride
So the joke was on me and David this morning when we found out that would be spending our last day on baseboards and shoe molding. Who would have thought that this project would have kept us busy all week. The good thing is that we were able to fly through the rest of the rooms and had time to even create a door frame.
One of the great things about today was we got to meet Oliver, the man who will be moving into the house in a weeks. After all the hours we have put in at the build sites it was nice to finally meet one of the owners, hear his story and see how excited he was with the progress we had made and for him to be able to move in.
Some serious nappage took place during lunch, so much so that Marcus' bag left an imprint.
I think that I mentioned before that one of the site leaders did as Bike and Build ride two summers ago. Here we have Megan, Nicole who was a site ledger, Leisel the former B&B'er and Julie. My new helmet receive some new Googlie eyes thanks to Jack and his care package from yesterday.
Now it is off to bed as we have a 4:30 am wake up call. The crew decided to get up early because we have a 110 mIle ride tomorrow and want to get a jumpstart on the day. Finger crossed we do not get too wet as there is a huge storm coming in from Texas
