First Host Dinner

The next few posts will probably include a lot of firsts (first time using sparklers, first time biking west, first time stepping foot in Oklahoma, etc). One of the ways we are able to keep costs on the road low is through donation magic. Many organizations have opened their churches, gyms, large community rooms to us which helps with lodging and others help by feeding us. Tonight we headed back over to the Habitat office because we were having dinner at a local church. Apparently this group hosts riders each year which is amazing.

The parishioners were GREAT - very sassy and hilarious which is always a winning combination. Along the way some groups ask us to do a brief presentation on the organization, the day in the life of a biker/builder and to answer any questions they may have. The presentation kicks off with a video and all of us agreed that by the end of the short clip we were even more pumped than we had been before dinner. We are all sure excited to get out on the road tomorrow and start BIKING ACROSS THE COUNTRY!!!!
